With an active subscription, they can use the visible phone number, email or message form. Update your card when you change hotels.

When changing hotels
Replace the previous hotel and save. Updated details are fetched the next time the card is opened or refreshed.
After returning
Select Home. If you use departure and return dates, review or clear them so the schedule does not override your manual choice.
Departure and return dates and times switch Home/Travel in your selected time zone. They do not schedule changes between hotels. Update your phone or email on the same card, without a new QR.

FAQ: Smart QR tag
for your luggage
Do I need a new printed QR when I change hotels?
No. Update your place of stay in the panel and save. The code stays the same; current details are fetched when the card is next opened or refreshed.
What does a free account include?
You can explore the panel and download your QR. Saving a new account’s card and public finder contact require payment. Printing alone does not activate the service.
What do the main and extra codes cost?
The main code subscription costs 9,99 € per year. Print copies on multiple items. Extra independent codes have separate fees and expiry dates, shown in the panel.
Can I schedule all my hotels?
No. You save one place of stay. Departure and return dates switch Home/Travel in your selected time zone; they do not replace one hotel with another.
What should I do when I return or change plans?
Select Home and review your saved dates. Clear them when switching modes if the schedule no longer applies. Returning to Home does not delete stored hotel details.
Can I change my phone number or email?
Yes. With active access, edit the selected code’s card. You do not need to print a new QR.
What happens after the subscription expires?
Contact details are hidden. The form may accept locked messages; reading them requires reactivation under the terms shown in the panel. Paused or retired codes may restrict contact.
Does the finder need an app and internet?
No whostravel.ing app is needed. They need a phone that reads QR codes and internet access to open the card in a browser.
How do I prepare the label for a trip?
Download PNG or use the print / save-as-PDF view. Keep good contrast and a clear margin around the QR, protect the paper in a sleeve and test it after attachment. Durability depends on material and fastening.
Are my details anonymous?
No. Anyone with the QR or link can see shared details. The service also stores scan logs and messages, including IP. Hiding the card does not delete these records; see the privacy policy.
